Healthy Communities Through Active Transportation

 March 30th, 2010 - Riffe Center in Columbus

 Join us for this important workshop that will promote an integrated transportation system and Complete Streets as a path to building healthy communities for Ohioans.

 Morning sessions will cover policy issues and target policy leaders and decision makers, as well as other conference participants. The afternoon sessions will focus on practicioners and advocates.

Breakout sessions will include topics on:

Education, Engineering, Health, Law Enforcement, Planning, Transportation

A more technical day is aimed at transportation planners and engineers on March 31st. The focus of this additional training will be on planning and designing safe pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and will include a hands-on Roadway Safety Audit led by national experts.  More details will be coming soon.
