On November 16, 2011, over fifty participants from all over thestate gathered at the Riffe Center in Columbus for Set the Standards: Health Education in Ohio. After being briefed on the issue, participants had a chance to meet in groups with others from their district. Then our teams of volunteers went to visit 31 legislative offices and to deliver written materials on the need for health education standards in Ohio.Thank you to everyone who joined us for this important day. Continuing on the success of the November 16, 2011 Advocacy Day BHSA's Advocacy Committee has two other ways you can help with the cause: - 1) Is your organization signed up as a "Supporter" for the Health Education Standards? If not, you can sign up online by going to: http://setthestandards.wordpress.com/support/
