Program Description

The Center for Public Health Practice at the Ohio State University's College of Public Health, with support from the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center at The Ohio State University, is proud to bring to you the 19th Annual Summer Program in Population Health. Each year, the Summer Program brings world-renowned experts in public health to Columbus, Ohio. The unique design of the program provides an opportunity for individuals to learn in an atmosphere of intense scholarship and collaboration. This year's courses offer a wide variety of topics to meet the needs of a broad public health workforce.

In addition to our selection of courses, we are hosting a Pre-Program Workshop on community engagement and coalition building. This workshop will focus on key public health and community development principles and skills around coalition building and community engagement and is designed for people working on and with community coalitions to improve health and reduce disparities. For more information on this workshop, please click on the Pre-Program Workshop tab on the top of this page.

This year, courses will be offered at two locations on the Ohio State Campus, the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center and the College of Public Health's Cunz Hall. Please be sure to check the location of your course.
