  • Mesothelioma Guide
    The Mesothelioma Guide is a social services organization devoted to assisting patients with mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. This organization helps guide patients and their families through the complex medical system and provide them with free assistance and reading materials on treatment options, specialists, clinical trials, and support groups. 

  • Recovery Village
    A cancer diagnosis is one of the most difficult things a patient will have to handle. This diagnosis becomes more complicated when the need for prescription medications leads to addition. The Recovery Village is an organization with locations across the country dedicated to providing the best treatment possible to this struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Their webpage discusses how cancer patients can take prescription medications safely as well as alternative treatments they may consider to lessen the risk of addiction.
  • The Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Project (BCCP)
    BCCP was created to offer free mammograms, Pap tests and other services to uninsured women in the Southwest Ohio area. It is funded by the Ohio Department of Health through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of Ohio. PCH offers the BCCP in the following counties: Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby. Appointments are required, and can be made by calling BCCP at (937) 208-7952 or toll-free at (866) 838-8973.
