This webinar will share best practices for designing, organizing, and presenting a research or practice-based project in an academic poster format. Participants will learn the tools needed to make their posters stand out and connect with their audience, regardless of their skill level or type of content.
Presenters:
Timothy Crawford, Ph. D., is an Epidemiologist and Biostatistician in the Departments of Population and Public Health and Family Medicine at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. His research explores stigma and care-seeking behaviors for individuals with HIV. He has worked with numerous students to develop research posters for national, state, and local conferences.
Sydney Silverstein, Ph.D., is an anthropologist and qualitative researcher in the Departments of Population and Public Health and Psychiatry at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Silverstein has extensive experience conducting and presenting mixed-method research on substance use disorders and mentoring students of all levels in research and scholarly communication.
