Effective use of Artificial Intelligence for Health Education and Communication

This interactive presentation introduces public health professionals to artificial intelligence and its growing role in health education and communication. Attendees will gain a foundational understanding of AI and generative AI, explore real-world public health applications, and engage in hands-on demonstrations using tools such as Copilot. Through guided practice, small-group discussions, and practical examples, participants will learn evidence-informed best practices for using AI responsibly, writing effective prompts, and communicating clearly and ethically. The session also encourages critical reflection on the benefits and risks of AI, equipping organizations with concrete steps to prepare for the future impacts of AI in public health communication.
