Continuing education is required for health educators who are certified, whether CHES or MCHES, and usually required by other professional certifications you may have in addition to health education.  Even when not required, most of our members value staying current in the field.

Ohio SOPHE strives to provide professional development to meet the needs of health educators who work in a broad variety of settings by offering timely topics and opportunities to develop cross-cutting skills. In addition, we recognize the value of individualized personal development that meets individuals needs, interests and settings.
