I currently work as the Grant manager at Public Health - Dayton and Montgomery County since the end of 2015. Specifically I manage the Communities Preventing Chronic Disease grant, which comprehensively addresses chronic disease and health disparities through environmental and systems approaches to promote healthy behaviors. We also help provide linkages between health system interventions and the community to help people manage chronic conditions. Some of the approaches we use to address chronic diseases in Montgomery County include: Active commuting policies, healthy retail, promotion of diabetes prevention programs, client-choice food pantries, and many more!
