2026 HEI Lodging Assistance

Ohio SOPHE is now offering lodging assistance for those attending the 2026 Health Educators’ Institute (HEI)!

This lodging assistance is made possible through the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Workforce Development Grant. Lodging assistance is available for both professional and student members - please visit the appropriate page below based on your Ohio SOPHE membership level to view details and instructions. This support intends to reduce financial barriers for Ohio’s health educators to access:

• Timely, skill-based professional development. 
• Meaningful networking opportunities with colleagues.
• 11-15 hours of continuing education credits for Certified and Master Certified Health Education Specialists as well as Ohio Prevention Professionals. 

Two categories of lodging assistance are available through this initiative:

1. Professionals, defined as individuals working in, aspiring to work in, or retired from a health education position. 
2. Students, defined as individuals who are enrolled in a health education program or related field in an Ohio institution of higher education.
