Each year, Ohio SOPHE awards two individuals who have contributed in a significant way to the Health Education profession.  One award, The Outstanding Health Educator, is presented to a current Ohio SOPHE member; and the second award, Outstanding Contributions to Health Education", is given to a non-member or an Ohio SOPHE member.
