Conference Goal: To advance health equity in Ohio through public health policy, partnerships, and
practice.
Overall Conference Objectives:
1. Discuss how public health professionals and community workers can consider health in all
policies and apply this knowledge in population-based practice.
2. Recognize how communities are addressing the social determinants of health and health equity.
3. Identify public health practices that can reduce disparities in access and quality of care and
improve health outcomes across populations and communities.
4. Describe resources and services that will best impact the greatest health disparities in populations
most affected.
