Achieving health equity requires strong, inclusive workplaces that empower public health professionals to drive meaningful change in their communities. This training explores the intersection of workplace well-being and community health, emphasizing how a supportive work environment enhances collaboration, innovation, and long-term impact. Participants will examine Ohio’s history of resilience, learn strategies to address systemic barriers, and engage in hands-on problem-solving to integrate equity principles into daily practice.
Through interactive discussions and real-world case studies, attendees will develop actionable strategies to create healthier, more inclusive workplaces that serve as the foundation for thriving communities. By fostering workplace environments that prioritize diversity, equity, and employee well-being, public health professionals can amplify their impact, strengthen community partnerships, and advance sustainable solutions that improve health outcomes across Ohio.
The meeting will be held at the Heart of Ohio Family Center
